Hilton Head, South Carolina Wedding
On what felt like the hottest summer day Cristian and Taylor tied the knot in Hilton Head, South Carolina at the Sea Pines Resort in front of all their family and friends. Being together since middle school and having their first child (& the CUTEST LITTLE BOY EVER) Ripley, it was a full circle being able to now call each other husband and wife.
One thing that Cristian and Taylor knew they wanted to do before their ceremony was to share private vows. This was a way to hold hands, shed tears, and say life long words of love, encouragement, and dedication to one another. It was such an intimate and peaceful moment between the two of them and their best friend as their officiant. I highly recommend having private vows if you're wanting to save seeing each other for walking down the aisle! Also, writing these vows on paper and saving them for anniversaries to come is such a nostalgic way to remember this moment. Back to back vows is yet another way to incorporate photo opportunities into your wedding day (of course I have to say that with my photographer's mind) and I really do mean it! The more "alone" time couples spend, even with a few short minutes means the most on this day of celebrating your love.
Throughout their wedding and all the planning, Taylor and I became really good friends which is all I hope to happen with my clients! At the end of this process and while it's happening I hope to not just be your "wedding photographer", but a friend and since Taylor's wedding, we've done anniversary sessions, family sessions, branding sessions, boudoir sessions and I can't wait to be their "life long photographer" as they call it hahaha. Taylor also found her passion during her wedding planning and now opened her own planning business called Eleven11atelier - you can see all about it here!
Keep scrolling to check out their private back to back vows they decided to read before their ceremony and the reviews from both Cristian and Taylor which made my heart pour with so much love.

From the Groom: "Lexi was amazing throughout the whole wedding experience. Personally, I have never liked getting pictures taken but Lexi was able to make every photo shoot and event fun. It is obvious that she loves being a photographer and to me, that's the true sign of a professional. On top of all that, her photos came out amazing and she was able to make my groomsmen look put together."
From the Bride: "I also have never been a fan of having pictures taken of me, just like Cristian said. Truth be told, it wasn’t until I met Lexi and she took our wedding pictures that I even had a picture of just me that wasn’t a yearbook picture or something like that. I always feel so awkward in front of the camera, but Lexi is so genuine, fun, and knowledgeable that she makes you feel comfortable! I have done several different sessions with her since she first took our engagement pictures because of how comfortable she makes me; plus her pictures turn out AMAZING which is the icing on the cake. I’ve told her before but I’ll say it again, I seriously want to keep her on retainer and have her photograph my entire life so I feel comfortable, happy, and have amazing pictures to capture all my memories. I am so thankful to have met her because all of the most memorable events since I’ve know her have been captured by her, and I pray I will continue to have her take more for us in the future! She is truly living out her life calling and you can feel the passion radiating from her; truly the best person and photographer there is!"
